When Putin began to attack Ukraine, our children’s homes in Moldova were within thirty miles of where the Russian military started firing. In this episode of “The Professional Noticer” with Andy Andrews, Joe Savage sits down to discuss Roads of Hope’s response to this humanitarian crisis.
“My book, The Butterfly Effect, was written as proof that every single thing we do matters – that we were created to make a difference, and have within us the power to change the world. If ever there were an opportunity to directly impact the lives of hurting individuals who literally have nowhere else to turn, it is right now…and we can do it through Roads of Hope.
Please take the time to listen to this episode, consider how you can help, and then quickly share it far and wide.
Time is of the essence.”
Andy Andrews, New York Times Best-Selling Author
Within twelve hours of the war starting, Roads of Hope was able to begin to meet the needs of the people of Ukraine, including women, children, and orphans who were desperate for help and hope.
Every day, Roads of Hope is:
1) Feeding refugees at the border;
2) Transporting refugees to a camp or to one of our 47 safe houses scattered across Moldova; and
3) Providing refugees with clean beds, three meals a day, warm showers, and a safe place to stay.
We love these people and are committed to their care. Roads of Hope has been rescuing and housing orphans in danger of being trafficked in Ukraine and Moldova since 2014. We are uniquely positioned to do the same with the refugees coming into Moldova. We will keep working to help as many as possible, but we do need your help.
