This summer, our Roads of Hope team stayed busy with our children’s homes and ministry partners throughout Central and Eastern Europe. We are keeping you updated on our Facebook and Instagram pages, and you can also follow our journey here!

Today we launched summer camp! We have joined together with over 350 orphans from children’s homes around Moldova along with Ukrainian refugee children who are also staying at the camp. They are having a blast playing basketball, soccer, volleyball, football, and more!

Featured in our video, you’ll see Dave Bireline, Sport Management Professor at Columbia International University and Roads of Hope Board Member. Dave is helping to organize all kinds of sports and play for the kids while they are at camp. We are so thankful for Dave’s commitment to use his time and talents to serve children who have been rescued out of darkness!

This camp is only possible because of your generosity! You are providing over 1,000 meals a day during this camp along with paying for these activities and more.

At each of our children’s homes that you help to sponsor are house parents who work tirelessly to raise children who you have helped to rescue out of darkness. This week at camp, the house parents have a chance to gather together for community, fellowship, worship, training, and lots of fun, too!

Our children’s home camp is in full swing, and everyone had a blast at zoo day! Thanks to your generosity, we were able to load up 350 kids and house parents in Moldova and take them to the zoo for a day of fun and learning. This is an experience they will never forget, and we can’t thank you enough for making it possible!

What’s camp without some fun snacks? The orphans from Moldova are getting a fun break while your gifts continue to work to give them better lives. Instead of being targeted on the street by human traffickers, they’re enjoying cotton candy and getting their face painted.

Roads of Hope Founder and Director Joe Savage has a special update for you during our children’s home camp where 350+ orphans, refugees, house parents, and their biological children have gathered for not only fun but also encouragement and support.

These children were experiencing or at risk of abuse, neglect, and trafficking. Thanks to you, they are playing, laughing, and having an unbelievable time at camp! You put them on a road to hope, and you can help us keep them there.
